Chondroitin sulfate is a glycosaminoglycan (polysaccharide), most occurring in the structures of the cartilage matrix.
A strong negative charge osmotic holds water, ensuring cartilage elasticity. Chondroitin sulfate belongs to symptomatic slow acting drugs in osteoarthritis (SYSODOA).
Thus, the long term use have beneficial effects for pain and inflammation in arthritic joints.
The effect, however, is slower than with analgesics and NSAIDs - will take effect after 4-6 weeks of regular use.
After 2-3 months you can take a break, because the effect persists for several weeks.
Particularly in long-term use without breaks becomes particularly positive effect.
Chondroitin sulfate also seems capable of halting the loss of articular cartilage that occurs in arthritis.
Dosage: 800-1200 mg per day, for at least two months. It can take a break, even for long periods.

- the prevention of diseases of the joints and tendons
- the protection and regeneration of joints.

Glucosamine is part of therapeutic and nutritional supplements that are taken with arthritis. Since it is an endogenous substance, often referred to as "Joint formula".
Its principle is that it is able to favorably influence the equilibrium of metabolic processes taking place in the cartilage.
Commercially available glucosamine is found in the compositions as salts.
Efficacy for arthrosis (joint wear) were fairly well demonstrated in sulfate.
Dosage: The recommended dose of glucosamine sulphate is 1500 mg per day, for at least two months.
After this time, it is possible to take a break, since the effect persists for several weeks.
Break is not required. On the contrary - it is more beneficial long-term use.
Effects: Glucosamine sulphate has a beneficial effect for pain and inflammation in arthritis (wear) of the joints.
Unlike analgesic (pain depressants), and NSAIDs, the effect is delayed, apparent only after 4-6 weeks of regular use.
Glucosamine sulfate can halt the loss of articular cartilage that occurs in osteoarthritis. However, this effect was observed only for long-term use without breaks.

Collagen + Vitamin C

Collagen is scleroproteins, extracellular water-soluble protein that is the basic building material of the supporting tissues - connective tissue of the joints - cartilage and tendons.
It forms 25-30% of all protein in a mammal, and the matrix component in the form of collagen fibers.
Lack of collagen damage is manifested (and aging) of the skin, but can also reduce flexible tendons bones and muscles, increasing the risk of injuries.
It affects the amount of formation of synovial fluid and reduces friction inside the joint and its deficiency can cause pain and the emergence of degenerative arthritis.
Foods that increase the amount of collagen: cabbage, soy, red fruits and vegetables, beans, carrots, flaxseed and walnuts, black or green olives, lemons and oranges, avocado oil, turkey, antioxidants, Omega 3 - fatty acids, vitamin C.
Cartilage cells are regenerated at least seven months.
